These new basketball shoes created by Nike are some of the lightest and comfortable shoes ever made. These shoes are so comfy because of the innovation of LunarLite foam which allows for more cushioning without sacrificing maneuverability. Another new innovation used by Nike that allows for great structural integrity without loading on weight is the Flywire threads. These Flywire threads are composed of Nylon fibers. These black hyperdunks look especially intimidating.

Carlos Augusto Santana, a Grammy Award winning Mexican Rock musician and guitarist, has been honored by the shoe creators of Nike. They have created a pair of Nike Dunks to honor him. This is the first of six that are being created. The designs on the side and sole are artistic and unique. The black and white with the mysterious baby blue graphics and purple stitching are subtle but gorgeous.

These three different color schemes are in honor of the all great Bo Jackson, the late 80’s to early 90’s multi-sport legend of baseball and football. Style 1(Green, Black, Grey and White) of these Nike Dunks are made to represent the Nike Air Trainer I. Style 2 (Gray, Yellow, Black and White) was made to look like Nike Air Trainer Max ‘91Dunk High Classics. And last but not least, Style 3 (Brown, White, Black and Tan) are modeled after the “Medicine Ball Trainer III” Nikes. I personally own a pair of the style 1 Bo Jackson Nike Dunk High shoes and have just loved them. They are a classy pair of shoes.
